Guts & Glory Rally "Ride a Leg"

Surely some Spyders will be taking the challenge and ryding an individual 'Leg" of the Rally.

So, here is the thread to... Go for it!

I would love to do this leg with you but there is just no way I will get the time off work. I have the week in April for Spyderfest, then a long weekend the first part of May for the Kentucky Derby and then another long weekend in June for the BRP event in Maggie Valley. Also a work seminar in late may where I will be gone for a long weekend to Chicago. They just seem to really frown on me taking so much time off.

I would love nothing more than to retire, but I have a few more working years in me yet before I can afford this route either.

A wild thought... If we get one for each leg, we should turn it into a relay and hand off an item at each check point.

Just kidding, of course. We all have obligations that are greater than a ride here and there.

With the price of fuel going through the roof it's going to add a lot to the cost of this trip. And I'm hoping there is enough fuel to go around in May. A lot of things are up in the air right now.
