• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Guess who didn't make the cut

IMHO the Spyder wasn't picked because ….IT ISN'T A REAL MOTORCYCLE ….to the motorcycle community ….. and I don't consider it to be one either , and I've owned three different ones …… Mike :ohyea:

But I bet the RT and F3T would be #1 and #2 in the Three wheel reverse trike touring bike top ten, or #2 and #1.... :roflblack:

I wouldn't put too much stock in that list. The BMW 6 cyl., Moto Guzzi, or the Yamaha Venture and of course no 3 wheelers didn't make the list either.. There are other fine motorcycles that aren't on that list That are really great motorcycles, including the RT.

I must say, I kind of agree with the list, but surprised that the BMW did place in the top 3. I have 2 friends that are going on a cross country trip, and into Canada on the KTM Super Duke touring. I would not consider that in the top 5, but it really is a sweat bike for the adventurous type of rider.
And no, I didn't expect to see the spyder on that list, but I do plan on my own cross country ride next year.

Gotta say...

Top 5 and 10 does not really cover the wide array of vehicles out there. I agree they are surveying two wheelers not Trikes, Reverse trikes or autocyles. But a nice selection and fun to watch and see the cool features....
