• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Group of Spiders

I decided to look up the proper name for a collective of spiders. Apparently it is called either a Cluster or a Clutter.

So, does that mean that the name of some of these events should change? Should we change how we reference the events, as in the Cluster At Maggie Valley, or the Clutter in the Hills?

Or yesterday day when I was at the BRP dealer a CLUSTER of Spyders rode in from Akron to do a little shopping, after about an hour the CLUTTER got back on the road.
Hmm, maybe a school teacher can enlighten us on proper protocol.:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

Hey Joe, 'cluster' might be the correct term for you North American Spyder Ryders, but here in Aust the proper term for a collection of Spyders is a MUSTER :lecturef_smilie:

We hold one of them here every year, sometime around the end of March/beginning of April! ;) Great event (altho maybe I'm just a little biased on that! :D ) with Spyder Ryders coming from all over the country just to be there; some committing to ryding almost a 10,000km round trip just to attend. :2thumbs: :ohyea:

Check it out - www.spydermuster.com.au or on facebook (I dunno the proper address for that faceache stuff, just type in SpyderMuster I guess! ) I'm pretty sure that any of you 'furriner' Spyder Ryders from overseas are more than welcome to attend, altho I don't know if there's any easy way to get you on to a Spyder for the duration.... maybe we could convince all the dealers to bring a demo Spyder?? :dontknow:

But there you are, you might call them a cluster, but here in Aus, we call our annual Gathering of Spyders a Muster.

Favorite Animal Plural

My favorite: An Exultation of Larks (also the title of a book on the subject).

In the USA military a muster is a call to a collective group for head counting, uniform inspection etc.

Perhaps we could meet in the middle and call a Spyder get together a Muster Cluster? :)
