• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ground wire.....a little help

I have done a search on installing the ground wire on the Spyder and have come up with at least 3 ideas that people have. Can anyone tell me where BRP installs the wire if you take it to the dealer and what size wire to use? I want to make sure I have all bases covered. I have one installed from the bolt at the coils to the steering tree( where 3 others are at) and one from the bolt between the coils to the frame at the radiator mount. I was having some interference issues and want to correct them myself instead of waiting at the dealer to get it done. Thanks, Dave

Hey Dave, if you haven't done the install yet let me know. I made up a couple of extra sets of the harness when I did mine.

I did the ground wire install myself as described by Lamonster. Took it in for the 1st recall and the techs removed mine and installed BRPs to the exacted places mine was installed. Seemed like a waste of time for the techs, but oh well it was on thier dime.

Thanks for the offer. I installed a total of 3 of them due to some issues that my Spyder had. The 2 recommended by BRP and one from the engine block to the frame. My Spyder is great now....
