• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Grip Options - 2019 F3L

When I got my last motorcycle I replaced the stock grips with Kuryakin ISO grips. I just sliced off the old ones and glued on the new ones - easy peasy. That does not seem to be an option with the Spyder. I really have no use for heated grips, but I wouldn't want to slice any wiring trying to replace them. I really like the ISO grips. They feel solid, comfortable and the larger diameter gives me finer throttle control with less effort. Plus they look cool.

Anyway, the Kuryakin web site shows nothing available for the Spyder. I find the stock grip just too small. What options are available that would give me a larger diameter grip?

Thanks

You could get grip puppys from some of the venders on the front page. They are a soft covering that goes over the grips an makes them bigger. I got them for my RT an my hands are doing a lot better than without them .

You can also get leather wraps. That is what I have. Kuryakyn has the split iso grips that have 2 halfs that fit over standard grips and screw together. I think there universal.

Options, here's another …. get some deer hide ( like from E-bay ) wrap your grip until they are the dimension you like then un-wrap and glue them on …. deerskin doesn't get hard and crusty, like cowhide.... I've seen it sold in many colors ….. good luck … Mike :ohyea:

Hand sanitizer is alcohol based and evaporates quickly/completely. Soap based takes longer to dissipate.

What WILL fit is Kuryakin ISO Grip # 6240 from J&P Cycles No. zz50004 $71.99. Made for the Goldwing 1 inch bars. I have installed 4 sets so this will fit the f3 bars. You are correct in not finding any info for the Spyder on sights.
