• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Grip buddies

I agree. Haven't had a chance to enjoy a long ryde since installing the Grip Buddies (:cus: rain yesterday) but did get in a short ryde and they felt great. Can't wait to put them to an endurance run!

Happy too

Just rode 3000 miles with them and they are great.... but the stock grips are turning (on turn every 200 miles) ... maybe the heat or my grip??? I will try to get some glue underneath or safety wire them like on the 70' cafe racer!!

Ordered & Installed My OGB's

Receipt was fast, install was faster, Feel is Great!
Fills my hand (you know what they say... Large hands, Large Gloves!)
Cuts down the vibration.

Great Product!

Just let Dave know...............he is great!

I ordered mine this morning and there already shipped, will be here monday, great service, can't wait to put them on!

Original Grip Buddy

I have them on my RT and they are great. They don't migrate, they feel good in my grip, and they offer a really nice positive contact.

I also noticed they help to reduce some of the road vibes through the grip. I have not tested the heat function through them yet.

Work Great- I,ll be sad when I have to take them off to wrap on my Oxford Hot Hands this winter because they won,t BOTH fit BUT I will buy another pair in the spring if they don,t go back on. nojoke

I was riding this weekend and accidentally turn on the heat button for the grips. Within moments I was doing the "hot hand hop"..........yep, the heat comes through the Grip Buddies...........yowsers!

They came in today, three days early! just put them on and will ride soon, will let you know , but so far they feel great and great service, so i'm very pleased with them.

Just received my grip buddies and put them on. I might need to run to the store just to check them out! Seem like a good quality product at a very reasonable price with super fast shipping. Let the comfort begin!!

Ride safe,
Pikester

Looks like the glue on my left grip buddy gave away with the heat and 3000 miles... The grip was turning around.... So I glued it back with Gorilla glue and tightened it with metal wire " a la cafe racer" of the 70'... ImageUploadedByTapatalk1344378253.343195.jpg

If the glue hold I'll may take the wire off!!

So... Whats the verdict after long term use? Mine are all eaten up, had to be glued again and I will have to replace them soon. It could be my fault: my left arm is the only one with power so lots of force on the left grip, maybe the reason why it is almost destroyed... 5000 miles so no complaint! Just have to find something else!

Mine have worn pretty bad also. They also cause my
hands to cramp when wearing gloves. Like them when
not wearing gloves though.

I took mine off when the need for heated handlegrips arose. I did not think that they transferred the heat enough to keep me comfy and cozy.

Akspyderlady still like hers and never removed the set on her RT.

I cant find them anymore on the vendor's list--did I miss them?

My left one wore out by 5,000 miles! The sponsor replaced them for me. I will probably get a pair on the Sharkskins soon. I hear they are much more rugged although they do not "appear" much difference when you look at them.

Grip Buddies (Dave) is no longer a Spyderlovers sponsor but is still providing his great products and great service to Spyder Ryder's world wide. I contacted him via his web site to ask about why my left grip was showing wear in two spots. I had the buddies installed beyond the warranty period but Dave sold me his new Sharskin grips for half price. Haven't installed the new Sharskins yet...waiting for my original Grip Buddies to wear some more.
