• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Greetings!

Former Corpsman here too. The :spyder2: is a great ryde - I am a disabled vet and I know I would have problems with the weight of a 2-wheeler. The :spyder2: is the answer to prayers. Go for it and enjoy the ryde welcome.

Get well soon so you can get your :spyder: welcome 22 years USN & USNR - Fair Winds and Following Seas. We'll see you on the road

Just thought I'd pop in and follow-up. I saw my orthopaedist a couple of days ago. An hour drive each way, an hour wait for a five minute appointment. All that so the doctor could tell me I couldn't walk for another six weeks...homicide was a viable option... Add to all that, I've been on narcotics for nearly two months and we decided I could just switch to anti-inflamatories for pain control. This is the first time I've gone through withdrawals. I am not amused.

Okay, enough whining. At least I'm back at work, almost all of my care is right across the street from where I'm staying, and I still own my leg. It could be a whole lot worse. Hopefully in May or June my leg will be ready to hop on a Spyder for a good test-drive. Pick up an SE-5 and get back on the road with you guys! Take it easy, and I'll talk to y'all later on!

welcome and good luck on the knee and the new (to come) Spyder!

Your knee sounds like mine... does it look something like this... Yamaha accident in 1987?
