• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Greetings Spyder Lovers

Love Reports Like This

:welcome:

I love reports like this that allude to what the Spyder experience is all about. Looking forward to my second year on my RT-S PE 0391. Waiting for her to be delivered back from the shop with DPS recall, a couple of minor repairs and its 6K service. In the next couple of months will be adding a Corbin-RT seat, BriteSides and Mudflap lights. ... maybe even a light bar on the trunk.

:welcome: and :congrats: definatly get ahold of the Patiot Guard in your area, it's a wonderful organization. Ryde safe Bill

Thanks for all the replies!

It's great to see people supporting the Military. I was in the Navy 20 years ago, Aviation Boatswains Mate on the USS Coral Sea (I fueled jets on the flight deck, I was a grape).

The reason I am looking for Support Our Troops rides is because my cousin Susan is stationed in Afghanistan. She is a Navy Doctor stationed at a Marine base and we are hoping she will rotate home in March. Since I now have a Spyder I can get involved in the rides so I can try and organize one for her return.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreaciate it.

I will also be contacting the Philly USO to see if they can help.

Patriotguard.org is the national site. I'm in Ohio, so do not know the PA site. Go to main site site, sign in, go left to all forums, click then go to state forums. Click on them and they will sent you e mails about what is going on. You do not need to ride to belong, the only thing is, Respect for the Flag and those who serve.
Need more info, PM me.

First - :welcome:

I'm located in Blue Bell and have participated in a number of rides with the Warriors Watch Riders....They're far more active locally than the PG. They're a great group and I've been on a couple of rides/welcome homes with at least one other spyder. Obviously, the group is dominated by Harley-types, but overall, they're really accepting of whatever you ride - it's all about honoring our American heros.

You can find them and sign up at www.warriorswatch.org and feel free to contact me if you wish.

Congrats on your new ride!

Thanks Webhead, Oldmanzues and Everyone!

I have joined both the PGR and the WW. I just hope I can contribute as much as I want to.

I just found the site for Rolling Thunder and I will be in DC on May, 29th for that.

When I get time I will post some pics of my roadster.

Thanks again to all for the warm welcome.

Chris
