I am so glad I made the trip to Gatlinburg this year despite the rainy ride there and back. Staurday was 55F and a torrential downpour all the way to Wytheville VA where I met an old friend for dinner. Rode the entire way with my flashers on and never got above 50 mph. Rain was so heavy you couldn't see standing water and had a few hydroplaning challenges. Two hours after getting there, my fingers were still wrinkled!
I met some of the most fantastic people...far too many to mention except for some jerk named BMXGene. What a tool that guy is!! :roflblack:
Looking forward to meeting more on the Covered Bridge ride in PA next month.
My sincere thanks to Lamont for being such a gracious host for the BBQ. I've read several posts that likened it to a family reunion and they are spot on!! SpyderTalk may call it a Spyder Nation but it will always be a Spyder family to me.
