Hi Folks

Thought I'd share a few pics of our trip from Moncton, New Brunswick (where we live) to Prince Edward Island. These pics were taken on the Island and on the bridge on the way back. What a great day out.

Good ride. When I went to PEI, I took the car boat over, toured the Island, then off on the Federation Brige. $14.00 at the time.

Thanks..!!

Great pictures on a lovely day. That is one straight stretch of bridge I could doze off..:roflblack: glad you had a good trip...:ohyea:

Thank you for the great pictures. Now that is one heck of a bridge!:yes:

I don't think I could get akspyderlady to even go over that one. :yikes:

That bridge is 8 miles long and 200 feet tall in the middle, and I must say that Mrs Stig on the back was holding on for dear life on the way over, as we are tall enough on the Spyder to clearly see over the sides, but on the way back she felt comfortable enough to hold the camera and grab a few shots. A cool ride though, with great views.

I was there in August, 2013. It was a nice ride to do with the Spyder. Stays 3 days on the island. Peoples are very friendly and many want to speak french with us.

When I went over the bridge with my granddaughter she wanted to drive back and cross it over again. She doesn't seem to mind high places. I still have to take her up Mt. Washington in New Hampshire.

What were the cross winds like? My experience is there's always side/cross winds and they are always, 120% of the time, fierce.

You're spot, heres usually some terrific cross winds on the bridge, but this day there was hardly a breeze, so a very pleasant ride.
