• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Although it was cold and some ryders didn't make it, we had a great turnout in the official 1st annual Timesquare meet/greet yesterday.

I sincerly thank you guys for coming and I had a wonderful time. We had lunch at the outback in brooklyn(courtesy of pesaro brp reps) that was unexpected but great.
We then proceeded in a scenic route via BQE_ Bklyn bridge_fdr drive onto Time square. As expected we were treated by tourist, locals and oh yeah cops, like rock stars. Being swormed by questions and pictures. It was a great turnout and I manage to get some pics...............ENJOY
 
Glad it went well for you. You put a lot of effort into this. I admire you guys, and your guts to ride in the big city. You wouldn't catch me there. Way to go! :2thumbs:

funny that is matusky and I were sitting and trying to call as we are not familliar with new york anyways we could not hear mike on the other end of phone call well we were there from 4:30 ish to 8ish and treated like rock stars pics being taken and all
 
AJB62070 what actually happened was my phone went dead and everyone left around 4:15. I circled around a couple times to see if I can still meetup with you guys but it was a challenge to do in that area. Sorry for the mishap but I was set to meet everyone in brooklyn since 11am, and you can imagine the cell phone use. People were calling to cancel, while other were calling for directions or so. It was no surprise that the phone was dead 7hrs later. Glad you was able to get a taste of the rockstar treatment, post pics if you have any and hope we can meet for the next outing.
 
Thank you for sharing your photos!! I love New York City and I would have loved to make that trip. I noticed it was your first ANNUAL so I may still get a chance.

Yeah, it was pretty cool up there..... figuratively and LITERALLY! :thumbup:

Here's a tip...... we need to find somewhere else to park except the garages in Times Square area...... who would have thought that 2 hours, of two spyders taking up one parking space would cost over $82!!

It was a pretty cool trip though..... count me in for next year.... but I think we should do it a little earlier to guarantee warmer weather and a better turnout! :2thumbs:

:congrats: Hey spydee me and my wife drove by the outback because I know the area figured I catch you guys before you hit the city but I guess I miss you guys. Any way I am defiantly not missing the next one even if I have to meet up with you guys after the lunch. Let me know when you will do it again. AND I AM THERE. The picture look great and I am glad you guys had a safe and good time. :thumbup:
 
you & matusky learned the hard way. u have 2 park outside the tourist area. farther west or south... rich

I would have been there BUT my dealer could not get my SE delivered on Friday and had to pick it up today...Monday. Please get one in next spring, will ..must make it.

If this weather cooperated a little better, we could of squeezed another meet this year. I will have it more time planned and beneficial to all with maybe even some sponsors next year. All out of towners can arrange lodging so we all enjoy the day.
 
Ya me HDX / Smylinacha were in Newyork but were checking out leaves in Dutchess and Columbia Counties and a little bit of the Berkshires in Mass Sunday chilly but still a 250 day :thumbup:
