• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Great time at Spyder Jam 2015!

Well, I'm back from Spyder Jam 2015. I had a great time despite the repair issues with my blue Spyder. We are at a point where BRP will be involved for a warranty repair. Seems the computer is causing the DPS to track left when I want to go straight....in MY lane!
Had some worn parts replaced and had some Fox Shocks installed up front.

Cowtown again did a great job with this year's Spyder Jam event. We went to some cool places to eat and visit. Saturday night we went over to Cowtown's owner's home for dinner, socializing, helicopter rides and fireworks. The folks around Cuba were again glad to have a Spyder event back in the area and threw out the welcome mat for us!
Spyder Jam is not as hectic as some of the other Spyder events but more of a family friendly event. I felt like I was part of the Cowtown family at Spyder Jam and I knew some of the folks attending the event. The Cowtown folks even know my name. I'm just another Spyder owner at the other events, with a name tag.

I will be heading back up there this next week with the trailer to bring back my new 2015 white Spyder RTS that I decided to purchase while I was there. Cowtown is doing a few tweaks to it so it's friendlier for me to safely operate. I hated coming back home with naked trailer with nothing ride. :(
Once the my 2010 RT is properly repaired....Cowtown is interested in having it their inventory. They do need something blue to round out their Spyder inventory of colors!

I can't wait for next year's event and y'all should consider going as well.

This is the pic from their website of my new RTS.

I got the new Spyder RST home last night despite the monsoon rain I had to drive in thru MO & TN. At times it was so bad I engaged the four wheel drive. I even turned on the windshield wipers on intermittent a few times. I rarely do that since I use Rain-X. I driving as slow as 40 mph on the interstate.

So, here is the RTS on the spiffy Spyder trailer.

The Fox shocks I bought for my 2010 were put on this one along with my trailer hitch. I'll put the Blue Baby Doll Head on the hitch ball after I unload the Spyder.

I took the the 2010 'BluSpyderByte' up there for Spyder Jam to get it looked at for an issue of it wanting to go left while riding. I left both up there for a week so they could transfer the new Fox Shocks I bought for the 2010 and my trailer hitch and trailer control module over to the 2015 Spyder. The 2010 is still up there waiting on BRP to decide what to do next about the computer issue?
I went back up there to bring back the new one and to remove some other items off the 2010 unit like my license plate.

I use the trailer at home for transporting other stuff like trash to the dump, hauling cinder blocks from Lowe's back home for the square foot garden and hauling my John Deere mower places. It's not just a Spyder hauler.
