You should take a look for yourself. Go to:
http://www.hondaeastsuperstore.com/
and type "Spyder" in the search box in the upper left hand corner. Then you'll see all the Spyder accessories they carry and the sale items. If you're interested in anything you'll need to go to their eBay store to order them because they just changed their site and their online order form doesn't work yet, but their eBay store has the same items for the same price. Go to:
http://stores.ebay.com/Honda-East-Toledo
and then select "SPYDER Parts Accessories" from the menu on the left.

I understand it is a fine line when you have sponsors on a site, but I think you should be able to post items like this when they are obviously big markdowns to help out other spyder owners. Now if he worked for them, different story. It is a fine line though, as you don't want to piss off other vendors that do support the site.

What's the point of the forum if we can't pass on relevant info to help each other out? General information should not have to be restricted. If it did then we wouldn't have an open forum, we'd have a commercial one. That's not that case here. I carefully read Lamont's Forum Rules and Guidelines and no such rule or guideline restrictions about this exist, so please don't extend your own.

I fully support our forum sponsors and both purchase from them and recommend them every chance I get, however it is impractical for everyone to always and exclusively deal only with them. We can't all practically purchase Spyders and parts exclusively from Cowtown, and if we somehow could we might put every other Spyder dealer in the country out of business and that's in no one's best interest.

In this case none of the sponsors has a web site to advertise and sell BRP accessories so it doesn't appear that selling BRP accessories online is their primary business interest. Also these prices are extraordinary and represent considerable savings to forum readers far over and above anything the site sponsors are currently offering. Forum readers are even more important to this site than forum sponsors so they deserve our support and consideration too.

Besides with those prices some of the site sponsored dealers may want to purchase the accessories and pedal them again......lots of margin left in them for their pockets?

Well.. you're incorrect on many accounts.

Robsperformance.com is a site sponsor and has the same basic online web selling tools as does Honda East.

How would you feel if you were a site sponsor and someone came on blasting pricing from a non-sponsor?

I guess it would be one thing if you mentioned in passing that they had some good deals going on... but you went beyond that... and posted an entire listing, inventory, etc.....

Sure, many of us have mentioned certain deals or ebay things from time to time... but those generally are not in direct competition to a sponsor out here... and usually were only referring to a particular item.

I stand by my statement that it's 'not cool'... as in 'disrespectful' to forum sponsors like robs and cowtown. Might not be against the actual rules.... but that doesn't mean it's cool to do.

Certainly it's entirely up to Lamont and what I've posted is merely my opinion on the matter.... but being a small business owner I tend to look at things differently than those who are not in business.
