• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Great ride today (Deals Gap+)

I had a great ride and a bad ride today. The weather was great and bikes were everywhere. My first stop was Alcoa Goodtimes in Maryville TN. Talked with Ben about getting the software update as soon as he gets the word that he can download it. He hadn't heard about it but was going to look into it and give me a call. I hope it happens before I have to leave on my trip.

On the way down I got to try out my new Shark helmet.

I loved the helmet but I went by what I read in some reviews that they ran a little big so I ordered a large instead on an extra large. Big mistake.:gaah:
As the day went on I got a major headache from the helmet being too small. I was hoping it would get better but it got worst.
Looks like this one is for sale ($315.00 shipped) if you know anyone that's looking for this helmet in a large. I'll be ordering an extra large next week. Besides being too small it did feel great and I loved being able to flip the chin bar all the way back.

After leaving the dealership I headed straight for Deals Gap for a burger. When I got there I saw two Spyders. One was a gal I had met before up there and another was a couple from Alabama or Georgia. :dontknow::opps:

Hungout there for a while and saw some old buddies and then headed the long way home. The Spyder ran great and is ready for the trip to Hollywood. :doorag:

Here's a few pics.

Glad to hear you got out the house for a bit. Hope most of that rain is gone by the time we get there around July 4th. We are very looking forward to our ride East.

3 more days and I will be enjoying this too. First time for me with the Spyder in the mountains, so it should be fun.

Lamont, one of my Ninja buddies in TN said she saw you out riding yesterday and said that you were fast. She was riding a black Ninja 250R.

Looks like it was a great time yesterday. We also were out.... rode 280 miles and about 7 hours in the saddle... saw a yellow Spyder out and about.
