• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Great dealers are----

Sometimes hard to come by. Many times we hear complaints on what dealers don't or won't do so I felt it necessary to post this about a great response from a dealer I didn't even know. While having friends down from Ontario one of their rt's threw a P0340 code indicating a cam shaft sensor problem. We called DDS Motorsports in Utica, drove down from tughill and they took us right in. Buds showed it as an active code so they pulled a sensor from a machine on the showroom floor and replaced it. Can't say enough about them going out of their way for a couple of spyder riders with a problem. Hats off to DDS Motor Sports!!!

Good to hear about a dealer who is willing to go above and beyond.

When we bought our first Spyders back in 2008 and 2009 we had an issue with the 2009 semi auto at 1500 miles. The computer crashed. In those days, parts were few and far between. They pulled the computer from their only floor model and had the :ani29: running by the next day. Never any additional problems with the computer on the 2009.

They also had a "loaner" they provided anytime we brought the :spyder2: in for service.

Not the same today, but, it was good while it lasted.

Shout out to the team at DDS Motor sports in Utica, NY for getting me back up and running within a couple hours.
Thanks to Sam and his team for contacting BRP and having them honour the BESS warranty.
Thanks to my friend Chuck for bringing me over there also.

That's awesome. Good to know where to go if Deb ever has problems when we are in NY.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
