• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I've been searching the internet to purchase graphics for my spyder but not luck. Can anyone help me?

Spyderwolf can point you in the right direction. He has a really sweet looking :spyder:
:2thumbs:

Thanks Tom. :D

Check out www.spyderdetailing.com as Peter does great work and has some very unique designs available.

Here is what my Spyder looks like now:

Hope that helps.

There are other people selling wraps and skins on EBay as well.

I can give a very positive endorsement to Peter at Spyderdetailing.com also. He does great work and my friend who does wraps and helped me put it on said it was the best material he had ever worked with. If you click on my name above the avatar it will take you to the album with more photos of my Spyder.

I've had a great experience with the good folks at Spiralus Designs. I get constant comments on my graphics. You can see the final results on my albums, but here's a shot:

I am also going with Peter to do my graphics. My b-day is around the corner and I am going to start laying hints to the wife on what I want.

After comparing both firms' graphics packages, I was totally blown away by SpiralusDesigns's new "True Fire" package. That's what I'll go with.:2thumbs:

Just an update:

I have been playing around with ideas for paint and/or graphics, and I ended up removing some of the Spiralus Designs wrap I had put on last summer.

Marc at Spiralus advised using a little heat and some patience.

The pieces came off with gentle pressure and a blowdryer (not a heat gun) aimed at the still adhered part as I pulled. No tacky residue, nice and clean and shiny, no damage to paint that I could see or feel.

So while you can't really reuse removed pieces, your commitment versus desire to change things back with a wrap is not as permanent as with paint.

My $0.02

Celtic knots & Crosses

I am also looking for some graphics, but not as elaborate. More like decals. If anyone knows of some links could you please also post them. A few tribals might work as well

:agree: That is one of the primary reasons I went with the wrap instead of paint. If I decide to change it out later it won't be nearly as big a deal, or cost issue.

You should be able to find a place that does vinyl graphics near you. My wife's Spyder has some very cool pinstriping designs on it that most people think are painted on. They are surprised when we tell them a guy at the flea market did it for her. They have a computer and C&C vinyl cutting machine, and can make just about anything you can dream of for a decal design.
