For those of you who have heard of Her, well yesterday while out with the Spyder, I met and had a pleasant conversation. I didn't know She & husband Eric ( He's currently building their music studio ) were my neighbors. ( not next door but within walking distance ). A very sociable, pleasant couple. Shje was born in Waitsfield, ( the town next to mine ). She went to the same H.S. as my children. My son was 3 yrs. ahead of Her and my daughter was 1 year behind. ..... Small world ..... Yes - Eric Valentine is Her husband ( I met Him also ) ...... very nice down-to-earth folks' .....Mike :thumbup:

Lucky you! I have had a crush on her for forever. She was always so beautiful and talented, and I think her song Paris (link below) will always be a classic. Like you said very down to earth - I saw an interview with her once where she said she worked on houses before singing.

thank you for that ....... there was a much earlier version She did in 2010 .... this was at the beginning of Her fame ( the video was better quality - it wasn't jumpimg all of the screen ) ...... Also on U-tube -= look for it on the right side ...... Mike :thumbup:

It is a small world. Found out that Barry Bales, the acoustic bass player for the Alison Krauss' band, Union Station, lives just down the street from me. Lamont was his next door neighbor when he lived here. Really nice guy. Very quiet. That surprised me.
