• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have the F3 with the 590 Garmin, it has a feature called Round Trip, I told it yesterday I wanted to do a 3 hour ride on Curvy roads and it took me an a great 150 mile ride. I will be using that feature again.
If you haven't tried it you should!!!:doorag:

I have been sort of patiently awaiting the finally released from back order Zumo 590 mount for the Tri-Axis handlebars on my Spyder. I saw the return trip and curvy road functions in the manual and it looks like it will not only be a great addition for the trip to Spyderfest, but also for mountain road routes here in Tar Heel Land.

I'll have to try that!

I didn't know it had that feature, so thanks for sharing. I'll have to try it later -- I'll be curious about WHICH curvy roads it chooses for me around here.

I just had my TomTom Rider (latest model) installed on my F-3, and it has a "Plan Winding Road" feature which should appeal to some Ryders as well. BTW, it's $300. No traffic alerts, but fine otherwise, IMHO, as I have used a handful of their models.
