• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Im really needing a GPS unit,.But having a hard time figuring out which is the best way to go,
I just want to be able to see the darn thing in the sun light,My Samsung Galaxy is useless in the outdoors,....Should I go LCD screen and anti-reflective screen cover?
What works good for you guys?
Thanks.

I've never tried anything other than the sunshade; my GPS clearly announces the turns over the radio speakers.

But it couldn't hurt to give it a try! :D

mount

Thanks for the links,.....What do you use for mount? And any good ideas where to mount it on a 2012 RSS?
Id like to get a Bluetooth unit for my helmet but I dont think i would hear anything with this 2 Brothers exhaust system.
Would also like to be able to throw it on my Suzuki SV650.

Check the LaMonster Garage: I think that he's got all sorts of ways to mount a GPS unit...
(He's right on the Home Page...)

Do you use any kind of anti-glare film on the screen,or do you not need any because of the hood?
I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8" tablet for a GPS. I have an anti-glare screen and can see it reasonably well under bright daylight. I also put a phone anti-glare screen on the center part of the cluster because of the extreme reflection of light off of it. Works wonders!
