Just put a GPS on my 2020 RTL used the lamonster clamp mount works great. Do you have to pay to get traffic and weather though your GPS or is it already programmed in I have not rode with it yet just made sure it powered up but I seen something about them in the manual zumo XT. Thanks

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

That's must be why I receive the traffic info as my iPhone is paired to my Zumo and I have the Garmin Smart Link on the phone. Have never checked the wx but will do so this week.
My older Nuvi 1450 GPS has traffic information. The only requirement is that you have to use the proper power cord, which has a built-in receiver for the traffic radio. No fees involved.
I don't have a Zumo (which is more typical on a motorcycle), but suspect that their traffic info is based on Google Maps or some similar program, so they do require a data connection. When a data connection is involved, there WILL be an extra fee.
