• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

GPS Tracker/Locator

I have been thinking about installing a GPS tracking/locator chip somewhere on my Spyder. I'd like one that can run off the Spyder's battery so I don't have to keep recharging/replacing the GPS battery. Has anyone installed one on theirs?

If so, which one did you use?

zumo 550...best way to go, IMHO...read the writeups...have mine wired directly to the battery...

Not looking for a GPS unit. I have one already (Roadmate 2200T)

I am looking for a GPS locator (similar to a Lojack system). I looked at the Zoomback but the battery only lasts 5 days...can't be hard wired

It comes with a hardwire kit. Look here: http://www.zoombak.com/

The video from the previous site shows a cigarette lighter attachment. You can install a powerlet out of site and plug into it.
