• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

GPS mounts, Cup Holders and Handlebars

I am getting lots of emails about GPS holders, cup holders, and pull back bars, etc. The short answer is yes, yes, and yes!

It''s all in work. It should only be a couple weeks before the GPS mount kits are done, and the cup holders.

My Wife has asked me to move her hand grips back 3 inches!!! I can't believe that with those tall handle bars, she wants them back that much further, but so be it!!!!! I think you are going to like what I have in mind !! We have the Manual shift, so our setup will work on both versions.

tail light

Have you finished the tail light mod yet? And what will it do?
I like the other stuff you're working on too.

Are these cup holders for the RT?

Will you have them both for the driver and passenger?

Passenger??? What are they doing with their hands that they can't hold a cup....uhhh...never mind, I better not ask that!

I have not addressed the passenger yet, but I guess I better start thinking about that one!

Matt,

How about a hand operated brake for the RT? Any chance of that happening?

Dwight

Dwight,

As Lamont said, ISCI has that covered and they make a first class product. Kewlmetal will not be doing the hand brakes.

Matt

OK, Thanks Matt and Lamont! I've sent them a message. I'd like to see pictures of the mounting, hopefully they can provide them.

MATT,

Didn't you make a tail light MOD? Can't seem to find anything about it.

rjchoops,

Kewlmetal is just about to launch a whole lineup of electronic and lighting products for the Spyder RS and RT. It's so Top Secret that even I am not sure what all is included in the initial product launch. Stay tuned.

excellent, I was telling my service mechanic about putting either more turn signals or higher density lighting and he said to just make sure that it doesn't over load the capacity of the electrical system (not his exact words). He said currently when you start the bike up for example you will notice that only the parking brake light on the manual switch panel lights up and that once the bike has started the other back lights for the heat grips,hard/soft and fog light switch light up to conserve power.

So is this battery strong enough to handle this

HID? head and fog?
i had installed 100bucks hid on gs without any problem but with even more sensitive and/or complex computing requirements of RT, i think i would like a tested/proven HID kit.
