• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I am thinking about mounting my NUVI to the Spyder. I can use a suction mount on the windshield as I am not sure about putting it between the handle bars. I would rather it be higher.

Can i see some other mounting options you guys have done?

Also< i need 12v to it. Do I have to use the Can Am gps Harness?
Other options?

Dash mount

My GPS is mounted on dash with ram mounts. 12 v cord is not visible except when plugged to GPS. No excess cord. Reggy TricLEDS mounted mine.

Here's mine..!!

you can use different length Ram arms...

20130228_115811.jpg power cord can be seen to the left and runs to the frunk outlet..oh this is on our RS so don't know if it will help. It is half of the handlebar mount bolted down...!!

I'm mounting my Nuvi with Ram mounts - I have the adjustable handlebars - there's a screw hole in the middle for the factory GPS mount. Using the Ram metric ball/screw and a short arm to the Nuvi bracket. Haven't got the ball yet so can't send a picture but when I get it, I will. Send me an email and I'll list the parts for you.

I use a NUVI as well. This was my solution. IMG_1231 - Copy.jpg I purchased the holder, ram ball and short extension from http://www.gpscity.com/ I used the blank over the temp/oil pressure hole as a backer for the ram ball with 3 cap screws to hold it in place. For power, I bought a 12 volt outlet from West Marine, mounted it to the dash and ran wires to my unused accessory plug in my frunk. Hope this helps!
