• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

GPS Mount

:welcome: It partly depends on the GPS. The most versatile mount is probably the RAM mount. A variety of RAM brackets and mounts are available from GPSCity.com, and others. Here is one way. A search of this site will reveal many other variations, depending on where you want to mount your GPS. There are also dedicated brackets from KewlMetal and Touratech, as well as a kit for the Garmin 660/665 from BRP.

If you type in "gps mount" in the search field you can browse any number of threads associated with mounting a gps on your RT. Some of the threads give a great deal of detail and you may be surprised with the number of innovative ways and locations people have mounted their units to the RT.
The two most common mount locations are on the top of the dash and the center cluster of the handlebars. Wiring of your GPS to power and audio hookups will require removal of a few panels but that is pretty straight forward. If you see a hook up that appeals to you and need a little help just post a specific question and you will receive plenty of helpful responses from people here at Spyderlovers.
