• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

GPS finaly fitted

Thought some of you might be interested in where I finally decided to fit my GPS. Didn't fancy fitting to the handlbars. The cradle for the GPS is screwed directly to the handlebar shroud with rubber spacers making up for the uneven shape.

Oh, and Scotty, thanks for your info about aux. power and the powerlet plugs. I hadn't thought of putting an aux. relay in the trunk. Will come in handy when I get some heated grips. Most everything else should be covered with 3amp fuse.

I like it! Great for us geezers with bifocals. Hope the sun doesn't glare too much or wash out the display. Not too keen about drilling the cover on our PE, however. I had considered it before, though. Easy place to screw down a ram mount or two. You'll be very glad for the auxiliary relay up front. As Tim Taylor used to say, "More power!"
