GPS/cellphone armband?

Hi all,

Anyone play around with using an armband on the wrist to hold a GPS/cellphone?

I was thinking that with an iPhone a waterproof armband should fit on the wrist/forearm over a jacket and would even allow use of an earbud to hear the map/gps feature, ditto for GPS'. For those of us that are forgetful it would come with us when we make a pit stop or at least provide a reminder to stow the phone when we pack the jacket.

I may just stump for one and will post my adventures with it.

I have the "small" one for my hiking gps. Not sure if this what you were talking about.

I can tell you one thing about this aquapac: It offers no protection when the gps falls from the spyder seat. I now have a cracked lens.

Sorry to read about the damage to your GPS. :gaah:
Did you have it attached on the seat or was it placed there while you were packing up to go?
I have placed things on my seat while sorting through the frunk, tempting fate with my hat a few times.

I was looking at getting one to wrap around my left forearm all Flash Gordon like that I could glance at while underway.

It was just laying on the seat. I should have known better.
