• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

GPS Audio Questions

I'm still sorting out the audio on my new 2013 RT. Does the factory Garmin 660 GPS play its voice instructions automatically through the external speakers? If toggled off at the GPS, does it still interrupt (silence) the intercom when connected to a Cardo Scala G9 headset at the points where it would issue verbal directions? Thanks for any light you can shed.

I don't have the Garmin but that is how my Iphone works when connected to the Spyder. It give audio instructions through the speakers and overrides any music or radio and if I have the Scala on it does the same thing through my helmet

The GPS instruction will go to the speakers or Bluetooth if preferred you can set this up from the Bluetooth menu on the GPS.

There is one known bug in the GPS that if the volume is not on 100% the sound will not be coming out form the sound system, 95% will not do it, make sure it is on 100%

I hope this help.
