• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. GPS and 2 way communication?

I have a cardo system for talking between bikes. I plan on getting a tom tom ryder 2 gps. It comes with a cardo system to monitor the gps directions. How do I integrate so that I can hear directions from the gps and another rider? Anybody familiar with this?

The Cardo Scala Rider 2 has Bluetooth and can communicate with other Bluetooth devices.

Whatever GPS you purchase should have Bluetooth to connect to the Scala wirelessly. The Tom Tom 2 has Bluetooth. It should come with directions for you to connect it to the Scala Rider via Bluetooth. I think you can also connect a non Bluetooth GPS to the Scala headset with a wire. Hope this helps.

I have the Cardo System and the TomTom and the Cardo pairs up nicely with the TomTom. And, if you have a cell phone with BlueTooth you can pair it up with the Cardo or with your TomTom, either way works equally well. Good Luck!

Thanks guys........one more question

If I pair it to the GPS will I still be able to communicate with my wife on her Cardo headset and also hear the GPS?

Thanks!

Garmin

The last Garmin I had died. The touch screen quit working. When I called about getting it fixed that told me it would be cheaper to buy a new one. In all fairness it was largely my fault that it quit working. You can't leave them in the hot Texas summer sun without something going haywire.

Yes, but read the manual for the Cardo. Else you will be completely fuddled!
