• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just wanted to say what a great bunch of Folks you are.. I have really enjoyed the posts, the pictures , the good feel here... I've added a couple of thoughts , not a whole lot though..

Wish I could have participated in your get togethers..

You all are wonderful people....

Last Summer I bought a beautiful white 2012 RS SE5... almost managed to get 12 miles on it before I went land diving out of the garage and twisted my left shoulder that was previously damaged 30 years ago...and has been abused many times in that time period..gravity really works.. couldn't even raise it without help from my right hand.. I healed up as I always have.. and was looking forward to now....I'm 65..... then 2 weeks ago I swung out of bed.. and forgot about my right leg being gone.. I don't do that often, but have on occasions , since that was 30 years ago.. but it usually involves a bit of calisthenics on my part...to land properly

which I didn't.. busted my ---t ,,,and twisted the left arm again. big time...trying to catch myself..... being realistic.. I know this will be another summer I can't ride.. so I am putting it up for sale... give me a few days to wander around in the garage and question my sanity before i put it in the sale forum here,, with the changes I did

guess it's not my Spyder Time at present..someone should enjoy this machine.. I love looking at it, but I get a little sad, and one can only start the engine so many times to just listen and dream

Take care.. as I become a lurker..

That just sucks James. Sorry to hear that you're on blocks for another extended period of time. Are you sure you're going to be down as long as you think? Might it only take a couple of months to heal and you can get back in the wind.

:cus: it all. My prayers go out to you. I pray you will have a speedy recovery and that you will still stay with us here at spyderlovers. Don't give up completely, just reorganize and try again. Hope to see you soon.

Joe your :spyder2:might be just the thing you need for a speedy recovery might help to keep up your sprits with hops of getting back in the wind sooner take care my friend.
Mike

you'll be back...

Really sorry you are having such a rough time. You will be back and then you will need a :spyder2: if you can hang on do. I have had some set backs and seeing my bike helped me along. I think if I had had a spyder I would have been back sooner. Good luck get well soon...

Sorry to hear that you injured your arm again.................keep the :spyder:for incentive to get better, faster. Prayers for a quick recovery

Sorry to hear about your fall. Keep the Spyder for positive reinforcement. You just may heal quicker. Good luck with what ever your decision.

Hang in there bro. I find my :spyder2: to be the best therapy available...physical and mental. Don't be hasty...mend, then consider your options. The best to you...hope you mend quickly and decide to keep your dream machine. Whatever you decide, stay with us on Spyderlovers.com.

Bottom line, you gotta do whats right for you, but I'd hate to see you sell your Spyder and then find yourself regretting it soon after. As many that follow along with Teddys Adventures thread know, we've not been able to ryde for over 130 days now, cause of Teddy try'n to kill me (almost succeeded, tho my own stupidity really) and with his sled still in miriads of pieces, we still sneak in a ryde every now and then or we'd both go insane. For us, the Spyder is the best Therapy out there. What ever you decide, we'll keep you in our prayers for a speedy & full recovery.

I wish You a speedy recovery

I hope You get well soon. Give it some more thought. I would like to see You back in the saddle.

I'll echo many of the previous thoughts expressed. I know this has to be a painful decision. The only thing I can add is that you're still young. I realize the rehab on these things can be painful, but the end result very rewarding. I wish you the best on your decision.

Chris

Hang in there friend. The :f_spider: is the best reason to get back in shape. We hope you have a speedy recovery, and riding the winds on your dream.

:agree: Having something to look forward to may be what's needed to keep you on the fast-track toward tecovery.
Hang in there, and heal quickly!

I hope you recover quickly and please reconsider. Many of your fellow Spyder riders including myself have suffered physical injuries, health issues, and limitations, yet strive to ride another day. I wish the very best for you whatever you decide.
