• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got my first spyder delivered last night. A few questions

So it is a 2016 F3-T with 8800 miles on it. So a couple things.

Not sure how to open the saddlebags on the back each side. Please don't laugh

Also I would like to move the peg on each side to as far away as I can, and not sure how to do that either.

I appreciate the help.

:welcome:

:congrats:

Sorry I can't help you with your questions, someone with an F3-T will chime in with answers to your questions.

The saddlebags open by lifting on the lever circled in red in the attached picture. If it's locked, you use your ignition key to unlock it.
To move the pegs, there are 2 bolts under the peg on the rail. They have lock-tight on them, so heating with a torch first is a good idea. Once the the bolts are out, you open the clamp part of the peg and move it forward - the clamp part of the peg has a pin that fits in one of 5 holes on the inside of the rail. You will need the proper brake rod and shifting rod(if it's a manual) to match your peg position.

Thank you. They were unlocked already. I looked at the ignition key and did not see a way to lock them back up. I do see a key hole above the saddlebags. But Unable to lock them that way. I am starting to think that maybe they are not stock saddlebags and are 3rd party?
