• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got my call from Carlo last night

Parts in stock...

Inventory is very expensive and expensive to maintain. That is the reason most dealers don't have all parts readily available. This is part of the reason we have over night shipping. Even the largest manufacturers, the ones with real deep pockets, are now using "Just in Time" for parts delivery to the production lines. They need to keep storage cost and capital expenditures to a minimum to assist in staying competitive. /Ken

Carlo would make a really good politician. He tells people what they want to hear without really saying anything. He doesn't give out any answers to the important questions some are asking. Actually he is doing his job admiringly for he is doing exactly what BRP hired him to do !

Didn't he recently say that the replacement parts needed for the steering ills were in stock and available? Seems like BS to me since dealers are still waiting to get them. Maybe they are being delivered by way of China.

Didn't you sell your spyder? :hun:

Hey now--- where do you get this 'we' crap.....;)
I haven't given him any crap.... I save mine for others......;)

BRP is doing more than many companies would even think of doing pertaining to this whole matter.

FWIW.... I rode the hell outta my Spyder this week--- thrashed it like it was stolen and it didn't miss a beat. Been 10,000 miles since I had my steering problem fixed----.

Thats the only way to ride them like you stole it!!!!

That's not necessary...you really WANT to believe that BRP is just blowing smoke in our face and wants us all to have problems...if you haven't spoken to him, you should. He is very honest and can only tell us what BRP has figured out so far...meaning, if they haven't, yet, that's all he can tell us...this is far better than lying about things or telling each of us something different. Your post is not constructive in any fashion.
