• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got lights ?

I have some led lights from Blueknight and have them mounted where I want them but have not completed the wiring. Not sure the correct way to do this, I'm familiar with, but not expert of, low voltage.
It looks like all I need is two wire + & ground because everything else is done.
I see a plug under the top plastic top of frunk,
Is there an accessary plug that I can wire this without tapping into wires?
Any help with this project is appreciated.:clap::firstplace: thanks ahead of time.

Help Us to better Help You Help YourSelf

Since you got the lights from BlueNight, and it sounds like he has already made some connections with them, have you sent him a PM and asked him this question? We don't know what he may have done or changed in the connections that he made, so he'd be the best person to ask, just to be safe.

Also, you may want to edit your profile and add a signiture line, with important info like the year and model of your Spyder and any mods that you may have added, that way, when you ask a question like this, we won't have to ask this information over and over again, to better figure it out & to help answer your question.

If you have an RT, they do have pre-wired 12 volt connections behind the Frunk area, but the actual 12 Volt connector (cigarette addapter) usually has to be bought seperately from your dealer and added, otherwise its just wiring with a connector on its end. You can use this, tho I think it requires you to install a fuse in the blank area meant for this connector for it to be active. I don't have access to my manuals right now, or I'd check for you. But yes, depending on whats already been done, you should be able to use that connection, tho I think (not possitive) once a fuse is added, it may always be live, so your lights would need their own on/off switch.

Again, I'd suggest contacting BlueNight & getting his feedback before proceeding ;)
