• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Shocks that is. Did mine today, about an hour start to finish. NO bodywork removed and many thanks to my dealer for this tool..

The BRP official spring compressor:2thumbs::2thumbs:

The parts. Tomorrow will be the test ryde.

:congrats:

You know you had me going for a minute there thinking you traded in your RT for the new red one. :D

I thought someone would think that. Took the Spyder out for a ride to our one and only twisty and its a noticable difference. I have them set on 3 and its better than the 10's on 5

Congrats on the new shocks.. sounds like I should investigate that upgrade.. Did West Coast Powersports do them?

That sounds like a great improvement, and well worth your effort I am sure.

2011 Shocks and Evol Swaybar

Sounds like you are answering the question I posted on another thread.

I have a 2010 RT-S with the front shocks at 4 and tire pressure at 18 (front) and 28 (rear). I recently installed the Evol Swaybar and wonder if adding the 2011 shocks would make a noticeable difference in further reducing body roll while maintaining a comfortable ride.

I have the Evo Swaybar, upgraded the shocks to 2011 and am running 25 in the fronts and 32 in the rear. Set on 3, the front is stiffer, but not as much as to sacrifice a good ryde. Good investment in my opinion.

Got a great ryde in today, highway, city combined and the new shock setup is working perfect. Spyder is running sooo good, only 3 bars with 85 degree temps outside and fuel mileage still hovering around 37 mpg:2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs:

You must be kidding about that mileage... My RT is set up almost the same as yours and I am doing good to get 28 !
Are you using Gas with Ethanol ? What grade ?

Yep, gas with Ethanol, mid-grade and I check the mileage quite often. Just a quick check today on 2 tanks and it is still 36-37. I am amazed with the mileage after seeing what people on here are getting.

My RT has the Green Filter, TwoBros slipon pipe, and JB Pro same as yours. I run mostly mid-grade non-Ethanol gas. So, the difference must be those Irridium plugs you have on yours. I ordered me some of those..... can hardly wait to get my mileage up from 27 to 36...! :2thumbs::ohyea:

PS....the cruise control is your friend. I use it every chance I can to eliminate the slow down/speed up yoyo effect
