There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Good Price on 2017 F3-S?

You have had a good experience with the buy elsewhere service here method. There are a few dealers out there that do practice the rough time for customers thing when not purchased from them. It is still happening.

I only have one dealer within a 1500 mile radius. So far, they have been good to me, and I guess I have also been good to them. I cannot complain.
You are very correct. Fortunately for me, there are 2 dealerships within 30 minutes of me, and a total of 7 within 1 1/2 hours drive. None of them are very competitive when it comes to purchase pricing, but I found one that really works to keep their service customers satisfied, and I know that is a blessing.

One way or another it's always a good idea to support your local dealer if possible. (If they're a decent dealer and "reasonable.")
This is coming from someone who started/owned a powersports dealership (other OEM brands, not Can-Am) for many years.

A good dealer will service you regardless of where you purchased. (with the intent of "earning your business" next time around)
~Just don't expect priority service during busy times. That's reserved for their pre-existing/long standing customers.

While on the subject, I'd like to add: There's very little profit in the sale of new units. (Doesn't matter which brand.)..... The $$ goes to the banks, and the OEM's.
Today (in hindsight), would I spend an extra $500 to support a local dealer who I believed I could rely on? Without reservation, YES! (For many different reasons.)

Oh, Don't get me wrong -- I agree with this sentiment 100%! But when the price difference is in the thousands (which it was with my car), that's a bit too much to expect.

Some more good Prices

Honda East Toledo has a 2016 F3T SE6 in Magnesium Metallic for $19,767 and he also has a 2016 F3 Limited Special Series (matte black) for $21,387. I'm more leaning toward these "bagger" versions of the F3. Considering a 2017 F3 Limited is way over $29,000 I think I could add the trunk to either one of these and still be thousands of dollars ahead.

I tried to work with my local dealers on both of my new spyder purchases. I even went so far as to tell them what I was purchasing the other units for, and then offered them $1000 above that amount. They wanted $5,000 more on both my 2014 RT and my 2016 F3T. There is no way that I would go for that.
If a dealer is that greedy, I am never going to support them on new a new vehicle purchase. I thought they would have learned their lesson on the RT, but there we were, 30 months later, and they still didn't want to deal. And I might add, both purchases were cash deals.

In that scenario, I couldn't/wouldn't have justified spending thousands more either. (Price discrepancies like you described do happen, and many times it's the result of factory/reps cutting special deals on excess inventory being "relocated.") I have no idea if Can-Am does this with carryover units, but it wouldn't surprise me. What would surprise me is a dealer that could (ore even would) hold out for a 20% margin on a $25k in-stock machine. ~ That's not the industry I know/knew.

When you find a good one, keep em.:yes:
