Good or Bad Deal??

I looking at purchasing a 2012 Can Am RS-S new from a dealer for the wife. Dealer states that the 3 year warranty will start from the date of purchase, is that true? The dealer is selling it to me for $14,000 OTD is that a fair price for 3-4 year old new spyder? The dealer is telling me he is giving up all rebates and incentives??? The color is pink and black, was that color combination available in the 2012 RS-S or is it a aftermarket paint job? Seeking answers

Yes the warranty starts on the day of sale or into service in the case of a demo. So if it is 3 yrs then it is 2 years regular and 1 yr BEST warranty, $50 deductible.
I do not remember any Spyder coming from the factory in pink. I would be asking for an explanation.

pink was definitely something custom, maybe a customer order that the deal fell through on? 14k OTD sounds like a great deal with warranty included. most used rss ive seen sell for 10-12k with mileage varying and warranty expired.

2012, was the last year of the "throttle by cable"...
To some: that's actually a strong selling point. These bikes were rated for 106 horsepower. After that; only 100 horses...

...But NEVER in pink for the factory... :shocked:

Whats the mileage..?? You can run the vin# if it is new its a good price. You will get the manufacturers warranty of 2 years and the option to buy extended warranty. Have to agree the pink is strange...:thumbup: I have that year and model...all black...
