I did just that. It really pissed them off but I did it. Thanks to all the input on here I found a really fair deal. 2009 in the box, base price $14595 in stock color and will add my mods later when I have the opportunity to shop my mods prices too.

Glad you were able to get some good advice here and save a few thousand $$$'s. That appears to be a really nice price as the list price on a red Spyder is up around $16,000 I think. Many of the good dealers have been giving their customers 10 - 15% off accessories also.

Yep, she was a very active, new SpyderLover member in the spring. She got a few other SpyderLovers to show up at her place to help with a lot of mods on her newly acquired Spyder and we have hardly heard from her since. She must be out riding the thing instead of talking about it like me.
