• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Good Deal???

Is $15500 plus tax and tag a good deal?? No other fees... I'm used to getting a deal on any new bike and just wondering if this is normal.. When I bought my 2007 M109 LE I paid $2000 off MSRP and now only a $399 discount on a more expensive bike seems tight...

I know this is basically an order only unit unless you get lucky and someone backed out but I was still expecting at least a $1000 discount.. Is this foolish or is it a case of "It is What it Is!!!"

Either way I'm buying the bike because $600 won't stop me from buying but if there are better deals out there I'm in no major rush and don't mind traveling for a deal.. As a matter of fact the ride home wouldn't be all that bad because I could spend some time getting use to the bike and enjoying the trip...

The dealer I ordered from the other day actually said if I could find it cheaper he will refund my deposit because he can sell it in no time and it would help him because he can only order them with a buyer and a deposit..

Just checking to see if there are better deals on the East Coast....

Thanks

It sounds about right from what I've been reading. The dealerships don't seem to be making any Spyder deals right now except for the accessories. I don't even recall someone selling one used that they were willing to make that kind of deal right now. Most of the ones I saw owners trying to sell were asking for very close to if not more than the list price.

:agree:

Cost me a little over $3K over $15,500 and that's before tax and license. Some are luckier than others.

However, they started out at a little over $5K over $15,500 so I guess I should feel lucky. ::)
