• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi all, I'm taking a (bare min. economy) ryde to Memphis from Pensacola on the 28th. Wanted to get some suggestions/tips since this will be my first trip over 2 hours. Most touring upgrades I can't afford at the moment, thus "(bare min. economy)"

#1. I just ordered the Auto kit of "Ride-On".:2excited:
:helpsmilie:

here's what i would bring, or have, ride on, 12 volt air pump, set of fuses and relays, depending on distance your traveling a complete oil change kit, assorted tools. Water, munchies, rain gear, cell phone, cash,
and a firearm;)

Thanks Yazz! That's a  on the rain gear. RoadHammer, I've got the air pump but no outlet. I suppose I should still take it though. Thanks on the fuses and relays, I'll check on those tomorrow. :thumbup:Just had the oil changed for the trip. on the rest. Thanks again for the tips.

Buy a camel back for cool water to drink as you ride. You'll thank me later for the suggestion in this summer heat. Take plenty of breaks.

I haven't heard of the "camelbak", so I Googled it. That's a cool product. I will definitely get one later, but I'm down to travel funds only now. I'll just have to make more frequent stops. Thanks for the info.
