Well...Butch has agreed to let me take the Spyder on my first solo trip to the 3 Lakes Ride! He isn't able to take off at this time of the year.
I am going to go across WI on Hwy 8 to Iron Mountain then take Hwy 2 into St. Ignace. I'll meet up with the rest of the gang on the south side of the Makinac Bridge and join them to do the grand group ride across the bridge! I'll still be able to hit all three lakes, just in a different order.
If anyone else is going to this ride from Minnesota, Wisconsin or Iowa and wants to meet up along the route let me know. It would be fun to bring a group from the west. I plan on leaving on Thursday morning...not wanting to do it all in one day (not even in a car would I do that!).
