There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yes, I'm m a very serious golf ball collector
I collect other folks' golf balls while looking for my own ball. Although I've played at golf for years, I pride myself in never having to have purchased a golf ball ever. My friends shared some of their collections with me to get me started, and that's how the fun of collecting begins. :roflblack:

No luck....
I had a Dach's that was great at retrieving others golf balls when we lived on a par 5. Did feel for the guys with the long drives cause theirs were the ones outta sight and Hiedi would see them rolling by.... :roflblack: we would put them in egg cartons and sell them for shag balls...kept her in treats....but then we moved..:banghead:

My dive buddy and I know where the golf balls went to die on the bottom of Lake Lanier NE of Atlanta, GA.
We have picked up hundreds over the years. I've given lots of them to golfers.
Lake Lanier is also a good place to find free anchors. Find an anchor line on the bottom, follow it to an anchor. Those are the ones that were not rigged correctly. Chain must go between the line and the anchor!
