• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Day 1....I left Houston,Texas this morning...by myself....Mark cannot come on this trip....work, work, work....the beginning was pretty uneventful....I-10 to Louisiana...exit 44...165 thru Kinder and into Alexandria then over to Natchez, MS...pretty little town...rode the Trace for about hour and half...it is always a peaceful ride and cool with all the trees....got to Vicksburg, rode around the casinos and decided to keep traveling east, and jumped on I-20 to I-220N and got a room in North Jackson...400 and something miles..... next door to Chili's...that works for me...having a scotch and then to bed....tomorrow.....I'll keep y'all posted to my travels....should be gone a couple of weeks.....Maggie Valley...be there or be square

Day 2

Day 2....well I got a late start....930am....filled up and got back on the Natchez Trace...169 miles to Tupelo, MS....nice easy ride got a few sprinkles....then I look down and I have 2 bars of gas left....went on a wild goose chase to stations the GPS recommended....3 old and closed stations....finally got near tupelo....171 miles...the last 30 miles were pucker and praying miles ....hope I don't do that again...5.4 gals.....remember...riding the Trace is 50mph......so gas up log in the next town...Hamilton, Ms...and get wet...pull into a Sonic...under cover...look at radar...call Mark and we decide that I need to get a room...check GPS...17 miles away....can do...got wet but bike parked undercover...safe in room....today only 240 miles....tomorrow weather will be better...headed to Benton, TN to visit friend

If you're going all the way up the Trace, the next gas station between Tupelo and the top is Carrollton. Looks like your heading east tomorrow though?
