• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

i decided that i wanted my spyder to have a little bit of a attitude so i just bought the yoshimura exhaust pipe has anyone here put this on there rts? and do i need a juciebox or something? extremekempy was teling me about 1 out of every 5 needed one. anybody got any feed back for me on this?. thanks

I recently asked similar questions, and was told (1) a tuner is not needed, and (2) the Yosh pipe is quieter than stock… but "feels like" it gives more torque. Haven't added one yet…..

while at the fest this girl had one put on her rs and it was not quiet to say the least.hoping this isn't true what your saying.thanks

I had the exhaust installed during spyderfest on my gs, it definitely isn't quiet. It does have a nice sound though.

louder than the stock pipe that came on mt RSS. leave the silencer out it you want a nice bark.

i installed a juicebox pro and the K&N air filter.

i think the yoshimura pipe for the RTS may be longer -- not sure -- i would think that the longer the quieter it would be ? not sure

Have had this on my rt-s for 1year and sound great and can tow a trl with it. It also has a small sl in but sound good and better pull and fuel. You like it will.:cheers:

now thats what i wanted to hear.thanks . did you have to add a juciebox or anything or just put it on and enjoy?

I have a Yoshimura-R77 on my 2011 RT-S plus a Green filter and a Juice Box Pro. I ran 500 miles with only the R-77 and Green filter and it ran ok but with the JB Pro its a whole different bike, more responsive and it seems to have more power in the lower rpm's. I didn't want the RT running any leaner than it already does since I also pull a trailer. The Yoshimura R-77 is EPA rated to be less than 80 dB, it's as quite as OEM but if you took out the baffle it probably would be much louder.

oh i took the baffle out alright.and your right was to quiet with it in sounded like the stock muffler but not anymore.its got a good roar to it now.
