• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Going to be a dumb question but . .

A great subject and every answer is pretty much right. It's your decision what to wear.

There are no fashion police that I am aware of that will issue demerits for improper gear. :roflblack:

It kind of breaks down to mesh, textiles, or leather. They all have their place and proponents.

I am not seeing as much traditional black leather with :ani29:. I have the whole set up and wear it when it suits me. Neither one of us wore our all black outfits this season. The chaps were on a few times though.

Textiles are available in many colors including hi Viz. Firstgear is a good brand and Baja Ron is a site sponsor.

It's your call on this one. Half the fun is the shopping--IMO

I've used Revilla a bunch and had nothing but good service from them. Sorry to hear your experience was different. But I must say we just bought a new Sedici (their store brand) jacket from Cyclegear and it looks like a good jacket at a great price. We'll see how well it holds up....

I am not questioning your happiness with their product, did you ever receive a damaged product and have to contact them about the damaged product. I bought a senco 20s pair one had what I thought was a bad mp3 player cord, he told me to go buy one some were they are cheap to purchase and available every were. I told him no I tried all the electronic stores here, Fry's, Besty Buy, Radio Shack, nobody has a 3m by 2m cord. He says go on Amazon and order it. I bought 2 Schuberth helmets over $1,600 and a 499.95 senco system. This is the response I got.
Just wondering if you ever had an issue with an item and if so how did they handle it.

2 days ago I saw a girl on a side street riding a yellow scooter wearing a full face yellow helmet and a full body yellow leather suit and then I saw a rider on the interstate riding a crotch rocket wearing a full face helmet, shorts, tennis shoes and no shirt. I considered one of the two to be foolish but didn't think either "looked stupid". It is your ride and your life. Wear what you are comfortable in and don't worry about what others think. We do buy most of our gear from cycle gear. We have a store in Fort Worth.

IMHO, tourmaster is the biggest bang for the buck (admittedly after many many years, their crotch zippers tend to fail)
I have a cold weather pants/jacket and a hot weather/vented set
Wifey's gear is the flex which has panels that zip out from mesh inside so hybrid making it a true all weather gear.

:agree: My Missus and I both use their Flex system. It's good from below 30 degrees; to up over 100...
