• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

go pro ram mount

Gonna have to buy one of those tomorrow,,, now have to figure a way to mount it to my Spyder,,,,,,, hmmmmmmm!

I'm going to try this on the mirror stalk:
http://www.gpscity.com/ram-mount-yoke-clamp-base-with-1-inch-ball.html

And, then I'm going to see if I can mount this yoke to the center piece where the handlebars attach to mount a gps. I already have 5 ram mounts; just wanted another.
This mount has a max. of one and a quarter inch grasp, would that work on the mirror stalk?
[This might be better]

I actually have a RAM u-bolt mount that is I believe 1 1/4" on the mirror stalk. I just think the yoke mount looks a little better and is an easier on/off to switch sides when I want.

The go pro doesn't have female threads like most cameras; I don't believe that will work.

I have the suction base they show on the video. It is good quality. I got it from Amazon. I had my camera mounted to it when I did The Tail of the Dragon both ways with no problem. Compared to the ones that come with the GPS night and day. I ty-wrapped the GPS mount to my handle bars. Definitly a great find. Love this site. :2thumbs:

I have the ram suction base also. And, you are correct; it's much better than the one that comes with the gps. I use the ram suction base in my car.

Couldn't this be used on the Goproand then mounted on the ATV Ram mount and the other ball taken off?

Too many people read about the Ram Mount for the Go-Pro. If you order one you go on a backorder list. There must be a lot of Go-Pro cameras out there.
