• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

GMOs or No

I'm not so sure about it... :dontknow:
If they can grow a roasting chicken with more drumsticks: I'd give it a try!! :2thumbs:

A wise choice...
I always figured that something eventually gets ALL of us...

...even if it's just "Old Age"... :D
...

Well

lots of pros and cons but still have a choice. Wife drags me to all the road side common markets to buy fresh produce that looks like it was grown in chernoble....:roflblack::roflblack: but now she has taken to growing her own....

It's funny that you mention Chernobyl... :D
I just watched a show about how life is starting to return to the less-affected areas. Mother Nature is showing a remarkable ability to adapt to the deadly conditions! nojoke
They discussed the "elephant's foot" quite a bit...

And the "Red Forest". Everything died in there; including all of the microbes! Nothing has rotted...

Scientifically-speaking, I am fascinated with genetic engineering and modification. Food-wise, however, I only want to eat what God (or nature, for those who don't believe in God) has made. Not what man has distorted.

:D I take it that you've never eaten at McDonald's?

Or Taco Bell?

This is a tough question.

Since the Climate Change is a Hoax people are still firmly in charge then it looks like we, if we all want to eat, are stuck with enriching a few corporations to ensure our supply of food and agree to submit ourselves for large scale testing as to the health effects..

Hey, what a great conspiracy theory.

Monsanto is funding lobbyists for the coal & oil companies to promote policies that promote fossil fuels so that Monsanto can make a ton from the resulting agri-dislocations.

+1. You are what you eat, from your head down to your feet.

I don't eat at McDonalds, Taco Bell or any other fast food place. We tried growing our own veggies, but the rats ate it first.

There are hormones being given to cows for better milk production. Good for the farmer and the cancer industry.

There are antibiotics given to beef in feeder lots. Good for the ranchers, now we are have a growing numbers of bacteria resistant to antibiotics, bad for sick people.

Monsanto first developed Round-Up. Now he has made Round-Up resistant GMOs. Where will it end?

Is the FDA really looking after the health of our nation? :dontknow:

If we want to improve food production why don't we stop paying farmers for not growing certain crops
If the price of that product goes down they will grow a different crop
we have farm land not bring used because a farmer can get paid for doing nothing

It would be nice if it were required to add that GMO is in the package on the label, then you could make a decision. BUT no, so far Monsanto has enough money to keep that from happening.
