There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Choices choices..!!

depends on the ryding...but generally coretex ventilated knuckle protected gloves. Like to feel the engine and rpm's while being able to get a solid grip when needed....

GLOVES

Deerskin......both lined and un-lined..................if they get wet , so what.....................Mikeguyver,........................................................................For cold wet weather, Walmart----" Celsius Deluxe Neoprene Fishing Gloves "....there is no stock number.....it's best to get on-line ....sent to store for free.....they come in S-M-L-XL.....if they don't list your size it's because it's not currently in their warehouse so they say it doesn't exist......totally dumb system....wait a week or so and check again.....$14-15 , and they are great..

My rear trunk is full of gloves, it drives me crazy trying to find a matching pair as there are so many in there. For summer I have a pair of leather mesh gloves. They are cool enough but they are hard to pull on and they turn my hands black. I have a pair of Kevlar Shooting Gloves that I like but I have stretched them out by wearing liners in them so they are only good for cooler days. I hate my warm weather rain gloves, when you take them off the lining comes out of the fingers :banghead: so I'm glad I live in the desert and don't need them very often. I love my snowmobile gloves for winter riding, they are really warm and keep me dry. I also have a couple of other pairs that I don't think I have ever worn. So if you want a junky pair of gloves just let me know and maybe I'll send them your way. :roflblack:

I agree!!!

It does rain often here, but mostly on the weekends when I have the time to ride :banghead:

Two weeks ago I tossed two pair of rain gloves into the trash that had liners that pulled out when I removed my hands. They are impossible to put back in when your hands are wet.
I purchased a pair of Rev'It Phantom GTX gloves. These use the latest Gore-Tex X-Trafit that bonds directly to the glove (no liner to pull out). These work - easy to remove and put on even with wet hands, and kept my hands dry in very heavy downpours.
the only downside is the price ($200), but worth it.

Klim Gloves

There are so many good ones to choose from, it all depends on the conditions. Being a snowmobiler I am partial to Klim, since it is the best we can get for the snow, but they also have a killer line of bike gear as well. It is pretty much the only thing we wear on snow or dirt.

I wear the Klim Element gloves (Gore Tex), Klim Induction gloves (Poron XRD impact protection), or the Klim Inversion Pro (thinner and comfy). All are leather, just depends on the day. If it really gets cold (40 or so) then I dig out some Arctic Cat leather ones with some Thinsulate since I don't have the bar warmers.

I've been using a pair of Joe Rockets for years... black and unlined; they're light and I can pull them on easily. I kind of wish that they were ventilated though...
Cold weather riding puts me in a set of Alpine Stars that are insulated, and have a long cuff!

A few years ago I got turned onto Speed and Strength gloves. They have a huge variety. http://www.ssgear.com/catalog/index.cfm?ParentID=a9bf2543-474b-4332-9e7c-0a2afdeaa593

Of course my favorites ones they have discontinued as they change models every year or so. The latest ones I have got are the Trial by Fire and do like them. http://www.ssgear.com/catalog/item.cfm?ItemsID=be7b7ee8-7829-4386-9eed-c7ba1bb7cff8

I would try to find a local dealer who has them in-stock to try them on as they do seem to be a true size fitting glove compared to a lot of gloves that run small for the size.

My first pair I got are HD - black leather with fringe because they matched my fringed HD jacket. I still love the fringe, but the gloves are too hot for summer and not warm enough for winter. So just in-between seasons.

I have a pair of summer-weight Tourmaster gloves that go well with my Tourmaster jacket. They could be better ventilated, though.

At Spyderfest I bought a pair of leather Can-Am gloves for winter. I haven't used them yet.

I have a pair of ice-fishing gloves from Wal-Mart to wear over any of the gloves for rain-wear.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Tourmaster Deerskin. They have the seams on the outside. Much more comfortable. Tom :trike:

BIONIC MEN'S M/C GLOVES

After years of trying to find "the right gloves", for spring, summer & fall riding, I have decided that the Bionic Glove Company has the best ones for me. They are the "BIONIC MEN'S MOTOCYCLE GLOVES". They are all-season, except winter, of course. You can GOOGLE them @
< www.bionicglovecompany> for a full description. Not too expensive, at $59.99.
Take care, CapNCrunch : =)

I see you live in TX and probably do a lot of warm wx riding. I bought a pair of iicon Turnbuckle gloves from RevZilla. I couldn't be more pleased. Buttery smooth leather with knit finger sides and knuckle protection. Highly recommend! Also have a pair of Lee Parks that fit like a GLOVE! :roflblack: BTW, the RevZilla web site is very user friendly. Video clips of a lot of their merchandize! Very helpful.

Leather mesh with Palm sliders for summer. Leather--no mesh--with palm sliders for winter. When I went down about 15 years ago, Palm sliders saved my hands from any injury, so now I am kind of anal about that.
