Glove Box won't latch! It'll lock, but not latch... Any ideas?

I have a 2019 Spyder RT LTD, but the glove box won't latch. It's like a spring is not catching. It will latch when parked and put in lock on ignition key. Any ideas?

Don't know if this is the same issue but I find that my glove box sometimes won't latch unless I press firmly directly above the latch mechanism.

Apply a little lube to the latch area maybe.

If I open mine all the way the lid will hold itself open, but it has to be all the way open. My problem is the phone holder in the middle of the handlebars won't allow a full open lid. Oh well, what the hell. I guess I'll have to settle for a two handed glove box.
