Glove Box not wanting to Latch?

Any one have an issue with the Glove box on their RT not wanting to Latch... I opened it earlier, but now it will not close. When I mess with the latch, opening it and closing it with my finger, it will latch about 1 out of 10 times.

I sprayed some lube in it, but that did not help. It has always taken the right "touch" to get it to latch, but now even that is a no go...:helpsmilie:

Ours was just like this as well.. Seemed I had to press it just right.... We looked at it over and over only to finally conclude that it was just a very good seal to keep moisture out and it would break in in time... :dontknow:

You may need to remove the body panels to lube the latch tho\roughly...or you may need to adjust it. I'd see my dealer.

It definitely takes the right touch to get them closed. Frustrating. :gaah:

One problem I had with my glove box was latch pin worked its way out. I tried several times to close it, wasn't happening. Took it to the dealer and they found the loose pin. They snapped it back in place and it's been good since.
