• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone installed GloRyder's on their Spyder? I'm thinking about doing it to my RT-S, but worried I might be wasting my $$$. Are they very bright at night?

I have them and really like them. I got the amber...the threads will strip on the outside Allen bolts, but according to Lamont, you don't need them anyway. I have had mine now I guess for over 2 years...have to remember to change all 3 batteries...I forgot there were three and was changing only the visible one...no wonder it was burning out quickly...duh!

Oh, check your state laws...it's usually best NOT to get red or blue...police colors...

GloRyders are a great addition to light up your wheel rims in the dark. I have had them on all my :spyder2:'s. That's 4 sets plus one extra set of innards to change the color on one :spyder2:.

I don't think they are a waste of money.

Don't mess around with taking the wheels off if you buy the GloRyders. Pop out the center hub decoration and just use an allen wrench to attach the ring inside the hub. It takes a few minutes to get all six allen bolts secure, but then everything else just screws into place. I have the proceedure down to about 15 minutes now.

I have them in white and this is my first season with them. I am so far impressed. I installed them with the wheel on but I did have to use a rubber malet to get the housing in as per instructions, other than that the install is very easy. Beware of not overtighening the set screw.

I have the purple ones and I live them. My husband said the make more noticeable in the dark. They are easy to install and a great addition to any Spyder. Make sure you check your state law to see if they have any color restrictions.

Got them on both Rt's - they are great. Notice them when dark - at dusk they are on too- they look COOL! Nice to leave the little screws out (yes - you will strip them first time on) - but then you can get at the switch easier for bike night events to light them up when parked and everyone is admiring your spyder
