Honestly, don't waste your time asking a single cop...he/she might not ticket you, but the next person might...unlikely they know the state laws without checking themselves. Check your state laws...you should be able to find them online pretty easily...

There's no doubt that nobody learns anything past a certain age unless they find a gap in their knowledge that needs filling... :gaah: But you could still ask a LEO and see if they'd check on it for you. Sometimes a citizen who is soncerned about remaining legal impresses them enough to make an effort to help out. :thumbup:

Anyway; I was going to ask about the custom covers... Do we email them to see what else is available, or can we give them an idea of what we want? I'm just not keen on arachnids... pps:

Eh...sorry I'm a skeptic here...more likely one officer would say he wouldn't bug you...but then you'll get pulled over by some other one who does care and is a stickler...

Regardless, more lights mean more safety...if I get pulled over, I'll thank the officer for noting the gloryders and tell him that if more bikers out there had them, there might be less 'I didn't see him/her' comments after bikes are hit...more likely than not, a decent officer isn't going to mind, regardless of the state law...provided you don't have blue or red...those colors are in most states reserved for law enforcement....mine are amber to match my yellow bike...

Custom cap on the front of the Spyder in purple LEDs. I fudged the color a bit. The iPhone doesn't render the UV purple very well ---

This is the custom cap with blue LEDs on the 622 Trailer--
